About Lorraine
I am the Line Underwriter for Upstream Energy, having joined Hiscox as Energy Underwriter in February 2016. Prior to this, I studied International Insurance and European Studies at the University of Limerick, graduating in 2010. From there, I took on my first insurance role at AXIS Capital where I spent 6 years underwriting across various product lines which included Upstream, Downstream and Renewable Energy as well as Property, Marine, Aviation and Terrorism. My specialism has always been in Upstream Energy.
At the end of 2023, I was elected to the Joint Natural Resources Committee which represents the interests of insurers writing offshore energy risks in London.
