About Paul
I am Hiscox London Market’s Chief Technology Officer, responsible for technology, data and AI strategies to provide insight and drive innovation. I joined Hiscox in January 2020 from international research and data specialists GfK, where I was Global CTO. I started my career at Barclays Banking Group as a graduate engineer, leaving as a technical lead architect. I have also held CIO and CDO positions and my experience at entrepreneurial start-ups enables me to challenge industry norms and react quickly to new opportunities and better ways of working. My leadership style is to empower those around me for collective success.
When I’m not working, I’m keen on cricket, having managed my son’s team for several years, winning county leagues and attending national finals. I enjoy walking in the Surrey Hills with my Golden Retriever and creating music on my growing collection of Synthesizers.
