I am a Casualty Claims Underwriter having joined Hiscox in June 2024. Following completion of my Law degree, I have worked in insurance for a total of 5 years. In my current role I am directly responsible for handling a portfolio of claims across Casualty lines from first notification of loss to resolution, which includes working collaboratively with Underwriters to add value and build our market presence, participating in claims lifecycle reviews and engaging with brokers to deliver good outcomes for our clients. In addition to my Claims role, I am part of a systems focus group which seeks to continuously improve our productivity output as we strive to be the best claims team in the London Market. I am an active participant in the Charity Committee at Hiscox to further our philanthropic endeavours wherever possible and I am a proud co-chair of our Pride Network- working to champion LGBTQ+ causes and initiatives with full support from Hiscox as an inclusive employer.
