About Chris
I joined Hiscox in 2014, specialising in D&O risks for US public companies. I began my career underwriting D&O risks for a large US insurance company. I then qualified as a US attorney and practised insurance-coverage law in California, with a focus on D&O claims. Most recently I have served as a claims advocate on behalf of policyholder clients for an international insurance broker. My all round experience permits me to understand the unique commercial and legal issues presented by D&O insurance from not only an insurer perspective, but also from the clients’ and brokers’ perspectives too.
