About Jess
My job is an Underwriting Apprentice in the K&R team. This means that I have the opportunity to learn the basics of Underwriting from the team as well as taking my CII exams. I can underwrite some renewal business as well as doing some admin-based tasks to help assist the team. On top of my underwriting role, I must complete a portfolio of work-based evidence in order to pass my apprenticeship program. I have worked at Hiscox for a year and a half now, all of which I have spent with the Kidnap and ransom team, and this was my first Insurance role out of college.
